Cormega Produces New Sound For Double CD 'Cormega Raw Forever'

Queens, New York Rapper Cormega has revealed details behind an upcoming double CD he is releasing titled Cormega Raw Forever.

The rapper, who is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his debut album The Realness, said the double CD will feature a number of surprises.

"One CD will have the stuff that people have grown to appreciate, like some of my best songs," Cormega said. "And the second CD will be me working with a live band. Sort of like a 'MTV Unplugged' type band. It's going to be real different."

According to Mega, his upcoming double disc release will feature guest appearances from artists that he truly respects and admires in the music business.

"If it's an artist I respect or it's an artist I'm familiar with, then I like working with them," Cormega continued. "Some of the artists that I like working with might not be platinum or superstar artists, but it's the artists I like. So I won't have no regrets five, ten years from now."

In related news, Cormega is currently planning the release of his benefit single "I Made a Difference," which features General Steele, Redman, Lil Fame, stic.man and Maya Azucena.

"Everybody should do charitable things," Cormega reasoned. "Every religious book says to give back. Every single one. From the Bible, to the Torah, to the Quran. I've been doing things but it's like, I could do something good, you'll never hear about it. But if I do something controversial, as they say, then it'll be all over the place."

"I Made a Difference will be available for sale through online retailers on June 14th.

Proceeds from the sales of the song will be donated to JPHRO.org, a Haitian relief organization.
