Yesterday BET awards announced their 2011 nominations and guess what? Keyshia Cole and Trina are pissed. Know why? Because both Keyshia and Trina didn’t get nominated for any BET awards mane.
Here’s what Keyshia had to say:
“It’s like this. Been on the seen 7 years. I was 21 when I got signed. 7 # 1 records. No awards 4 none of them/still touring.It is what it is.”
The Miami rapper Trina had choice words for the staff over at Black Entertainment Television.

Keyshia Cole had a hit reality show on BET “The Way It Is” and Keyshia believes for all her hard work the folks overs at Black Entertainment Television owes her an award. Don’t believe me? Ask Debra L.Lee. The BET awards excluded Trina from their nominations but harlot’s who have followed in Trina’s footsteps will always remember her.
Here’s what Soulja Boy’s girlfriend Diamond had to say about Trina:
“Shout out to my big sis @TRINArockstarr she has always been my idol ! I don’t know wut happened wit the nominations.. But she raised all of US!”
I don’t care about the BET awards but I’ll betcha any amount of money that Nicki Minaj will win the Best Female Hip Hop Artist award. Know why? Because next to Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj is responsible for putting the most negative imagery into the minds of little girls. And the best thing Trina ever said in her life was “Fuck BET. Too bad these artist only throw shade when they are not recognized instead of when the network actually went to the dogs!
