Webbie remains locked up behind bars after being caught riding dirty. The rapper’s arrest happened Monday, just outside of Nashville, Tennessee — just days after one of his concerts ended in violence. That’s when a routine traffic stop led to Webbie being hauled off to jail.
Officials say Webbie, whose real name is Webster Gradney, was a passenger in a vehicle they pulled over for speeding. The driver of the car, 34-year-old Derric Watson was reportedly driving with a suspended license. The arresting sergeant says he saw marijuana being tossed out of the car window. This before they uncovered 2-ounces of marijuana and $13,000 in the car with the 25-year-old rapper. He’s now being held at Marshall County Jail on charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and tampering with evidence.
Why would anyone ride dirty down south…especially Webbie? I mean since his music is all about life in the streets, he of all people should know how to roll when he’s on them streets.
