Lil B is the First Rapper to Come Out of the Closet
– Who’s Next?
Lil B is the victim of death threats after the 23-year-old Berkeley, California rapper made the decision to come out of the closet. Lil B album is set to be released next month, and guess what it’s called? It’s titled “I’m Gay.”
Here’s what Lil B had to say:
“People been hitting me up like, I’m gonna bash your head in, you faggot, I’m gonna kill you. I got major love for the gay and lesbian community, and I just want to push less separation and that’s why I’m doing it. I hope GLAAD see’s that I’m taking initial steps to break barriers.”
People need to stop with the threats of violence against others, it doesn’t do anything to promote or deny any individuals cause or belief. I think we should applaud to Lil B for coming out of the closet. Know why? Because if we make it hard on Lil B, other rappers like Kanye West won’t follow in his footsteps and out themselves mane. Plus there is tons of money to be made by rappers who accept their sexual identity.
Lil B says the title of his album is no gimmick and that it’s the best way to describe himself. Wait a minute…Isn’t Lil B good friends with Soulja Boy? Is Soulja Boy gay too? Why did 50 Cent buy Soulja Boy a tour bus? Why? I don’t know, but I do know that more and more rappers are starting to eat Skittles.
